Title: Losing Her (His #2)
Author: Mariah Dietz
Release Date: March 1
Find on Goodreads
“I loved her and she left. Maybe I wasn’t enough. Maybe I’ll never be enough.” I’ve been thinking these words since before we even got together.
Everything is new. The old no longer has a place here. Physical items are easy to replace. I'm constantly battling the ones that aren't.
Every thought and memory I have is stained.
By you.
You weren't even there for half of them.
How is she still present even though she left?
I can do this. I’m going to survive losing her.
*** This is the second book of the His Series, and it DOES end with a cliffhanger. The final book of the His Series, Finding Me, will release June 1, 2015***

“Dude, you’ve got to get up.” Jameson sighs as I pull the pillow back over my head. I don’t even know what day it is anymore. I don’t care.
What adds salt to my wounds is the fact that the world keeps turning. People continue waking up and going about their day. The sun rises and sets. I hear kids laugh and play, neighbors greet one another, and birds sing, and all the while I wonder how? How does the entire world appear to be surviving this nightmare of losing her?
Hank comes to visit in June. I still haven’t heard from Ace, and yet I’m still staying at my mom’s. I can’t leave. I can’t go back to that house. I’d moved rooms shortly after she left, and now reside in the guest room on the main floor. It’s better this way. There aren’t any pictures of her in here or random memories, like the one of her sitting on my bean bag chair when I was sick last summer. I also don’t have to face the window that looks out onto hers.
Hank knows that I know mom sent for him, hoping that he’d be able to “help” me. She of all people should know that having Hank around isn’t going to help me. He’s fucking married to the love of his life; he doesn’t have a fucking clue about the shit that I’m going through.
Of all things, Hank wants to go camping. I’m sure he thinks that getting away will help. He doesn’t understand that moving rooms has helped me realize I could go to Antarctica, and things wouldn’t change; the distance isn’t going to make the pain any less.
When we get camp set up, Hank opens a cooler and passes me a beer with a giant, shit-eating grin, like we’ve just overcome a huge hurdle. Deciding that I shouldn’t rain on his little douchebag tea party quite yet, I accept the beer with merely a grimace before taking a long swig. Before long, that single swig becomes a chug, and then a guzzle as I consume more alcohol than what three people probably should.
I sit by the fire and close my eyes. My mind automatically reaches back into that locked and forbidden drawer to pull out the image of Ace, striving to recall the sound of her laugh, the feel of her touch. It brings me back to our camping trip last September, when Jameson announced that was what he wanted to do for his birthday.

Beneath You’re Beautiful by Tori Madison
Coming February 24, 2015

Four words continue to haunt me . . .
You. Have. Breast. Cancer.

I associate them with the upheaval of my life to this point. The last few months have been a test of my strength . . . mentally, emotionally, and physically. Cancer is a monster. It preys on your mind and it consumes you, consistently reminding you of how your life used to be. Life before cancer. I was a successful business woman, running my own design firm, and was happily married to my college sweetheart. My life seemed perfect. Until it suddenly came crashing down all around me.
So, here I am, in the midst of treatment, incinerating the remnants of my shattered marriage and attempting to piece the rest of my life back together. With three amazing friends pushing me forward, the ‘post-chemo’ finish line is coming into view.
And then . . . there’s him. The man I never anticipated. The one who breathes hope and meaning back into my life. A man who kisses my scars and shows me that I’m beautiful. I never expected him. Hell, I never expected cancer. I’m finally ready to write my future, a future I never planned on, but one that is sure to exceed anything I ever imagined.

1st book Take Me for Granted This series has been a journey to say the least. I enjoyed in the first book the fighting the angst and just overall emotions you went through. Grant was this man whore who never really settled down I mean why would he. Girls are at his bedside or even backstage he says drop to your knees and they say OK. But one fateful night he meets Ari and he is confused cause what the hell why is she saying no. But there is something that happens that shocks him the next morning. Cause see Ari is put together she doesn`t need a guy to mess up her plans especially a guy like Grant who thinks all woman want him. By the end of the first book you are left with a major development which makes you think damn K.A. LINDE

2nd book Take Me With You We start off where book 1 ended and at first your like OK this is awesome until things start happening. This to me was where I seen Ari grow from a little girl to a woman. She had so much growth it was absolutely beautiful. Grant though was really falling into the darkness and needed help but couldn't let anyone in. Ari is going to fight even if he can't see how much she is willing to do to keep them together. I loved having this story from Kyla it was dark which to me dealt with something different then I have ever read from her before. If you are a fan of this author you should know she is known for being an angst queen and it is in this book. Contraband is the band and yes ladies they are all hot. They are on tour and its unbelievable how there life has changed. Grant is his own character but he has some qualities as Kellan so if your looking for an amazing bad boy Rocker Grant is your man !!!!!!!! And Ari is a holds no ground get in your face attitude which I love. That to me is what brings a book to life to see the characters make you feel there struggles and banter but also feel as if you are there in there group. ***** FIVE STARS FOR ME

Keela Daley is stressed out with nightmares and memories from her past, they are haunting her. She has no time to dwell on them as she is moving out of her dog box sized apartment and into her first house with her fiancĂ©. Moving house is a dreaded task, and Keela would love nothing more than for things to go quietly and smoothly, but when you’re engaged to a Slater brother, nothing goes quietly or smoothly. Nothing.

Alec Slater loves his woman. He also loves playing games and surprising her. Picking moving day to do both, turns out to be a failure of epic proportions. Alec wants to make it up to Keela for his mistakes, but as the day goes on, and things go from bad to worse, he doesn’t know if living with him is something she wants anymore.

What started out as a simple day of packing and moving house turns into the day from Hell. Unwanted house guests. Business propositions. Alcohol. Pregnancy tests. Panic attacks. Fighting. Arguing. Alec's lip quirked before he shook his head and looked down to the kitchen drawers. “Are you eating and then packing or packing then eating?”
Was that a serious question?
“Eatin' first... duh,” I replied.
Alec blew out an extra amount of air as he smiled. “Sit down then, I'll make you something.”
I shook my head. “Thanks for the offer, but I'm just goin' to have some yogurt and fruit.”
Alec raised an eyebrow. “Why?”
I deadpanned, “I've been talkin' the past week about dietin'.”
Did he listen to anything I say?
Alec glanced down at my body then back up to my head. “It's working, you look great.”
He was so full of it.
“Oh, bite me!” I grunted. “I haven't lost any weight yet, you lick arse. Stop lookin' to get some extra points with your silly compliments.”
Alec grinned. “I'm not fishin' for points, I was just pointing out that you look great. Even if you lose a little bit of weight you will still look great. What does that tell you?” he asked.
I shrugged my shoulders. “That you're a chubby chaser?”
Alec laughed. “No, smartass. It means you look great as is. Nothing you do can improve how beautiful you are, Kitten. You're naturally stunning.”
I stared at Alec and snorted.
“I'm not having sex with you today.”
“You say that everyday and guess what? We still have sex everyday... twice yesterday if I recall, three times if you include last night.”
“I get it,” I growled. “I have a weakness for your cock. No need to rub it in me face.”
“There is always a need to rub my cock in your face.”
4 Stars ****
Keela is a look into Alec and Keela's Life and relationship 12 months into it.
I started reading it thinking 'I hope L.A is nice to them after everything they went through in the last book, Alec! After being lied to, blackmailed, saw some pretty nasty things she shouldn't have had to see, kidnapped, imprisoned, and then saw more things she shouldn't, I really wanted them to be Happy! so I started reading and then...........I was hooked!!
It's moving day for Alec and Keela, it seems Keela is a bit of a hoarder much to Alec's displeasure, especially when it comes to packing up her things.
Keela goes on a bit of a rollercoaster of emotions and trying to hide these emotions from Alec she made a bet with him. The bet is so much fun until the Slater brothers figure out her game plan! oops!
This Novella had me laughing in a way only the banter between the Slater brothers and their girls can. There is a lot of drama, drama that always seems to follow the brothers no matter what. I loved seeing the softer side of Alec when he finds out about the nightmares Keela is having, and the love  all the brothers have for Keela too.
I am So looking forward to the next book, Kane! especially after the big 200ft cliffhanger L.A left us with!!
