I Soooo loved this book. Such a great beginning.. I cannot wait for more to this amazing story!
First we have Tara.. She is struggling to pay off her student loans and trying to pay for Grad School.. Looking for some fast cash she decides to hit the blackjack tables in Vegas.. She soon notices she has a “stalker so to speak” he has been following her around.. Playing at the same tables as she.. First thinking maybe it’s a casino cop but he is dressed way to nice for that.. Said stalker turns out to be the oh so devastating handsome Marcus Andretti.. See Marcus has been banned from playing in the poker tournaments.. he has been looking for someone with Tara’s talents.. So what happens when he makes a offer she cannot refuse..?
You seriously need to read this book.. It is a very short read.. and it does end in a cliffy but that’s all good..
This book is part of a 5 book series.. all short reads.. all following Marcus & Tara..
Book 2 Upping his Ante

Oh WOW More Marcus & Tara.. I have been patiently waiting.. I love these two together.. This picks up where book 1 ended.. With her mind elsewhere.. Tara suffers a huge loss at the tables.. but with that.. she has the money she needs to go back to school.. when she goes to talk to Marcus about this.. there is a fight.. She goes to her BFF Buffy.. and they agree.. Tara is leaving town.. Going to go back to school and leave Marcus.. What happens when Marcus finds out? Will he chase her down and bring her back? Will he just let her go? You need to read to find out.. I cannot wait to find out what happens in the next book..
Book 3 Hard Hand

I absolutely love this series.. Marcus and Tara are still at it.. the chemistry between them is unstoppable.. Marcus and Tara's journey together is getting intense. Feelings are starting to form..
This picks up where book 2 ended.. Tara is at it at the tables.. Making a name for herself.. Doing what she does best.. she practices, she plays and she watches and she's about as ready as she can be for her first big tournament in Atlantic City. In this installment we get a glimpse of Marcus’s family.. and some of the secrets he has been hiding.. Will Marcus spill his secrets to Tara..? What will Tara do? I absolutely love these two… and I cannot wait for the next book..
Book 4 Surrender the Bet

So this is going to contain spoilers.. and this does pick up where book 3 ended.. Just be forewarned..
So let me say... I get where Marc is coming from when he told Tara to leave..vanish.. he only wanted to keep her safe.. now granted he could have done it better.. maybe told her in a better way... but he didn’t. And I get why he let her go when they were headed back to Vegas.. he was still wanting to keep her safe, and now that his family is aware of her.. she’s not safe.. He has to let her go.. she’s a outsider.. I just hope he gets his head out of his ass and gives into his feelings for her.. They deserve that HEA..
Sitting here patiently waiting for the next book. Muah

This picks up where 4 left off.. Marc found Tara sitting at his computer.. he told her to leave and to leave his key too..
Heartbroken Tara has to move on. So she decides that even though she may see Marc on the Poker Tour, the rewards is worth the risk. But when they have to play against each other.. what will happen..? Will the game that once brought them together tear them apart, or reunite them? and let me say..THAT ENDING...OMG!!! I sure hope that sometime down the line we get a little sneak peak of Marc and Tara... Pretty Please with sugar on top...
