Marissa Carmel has loved writing ever since a young age. She has a duel degree in History and Political Science, but took as many creative writing classes in college as she could. She spent most of her twenties bartending which is where she met her husband and a multitude of interesting people. When she’s not reading or writing, she’s hanging out with her family, experimenting in her kitchen or doing yoga on the living room floor.

One Southern Night
I have had this for quite some time.. and I had received a ARC of One Northern Morning (review for that on its page) and figured I better read this one first.. hehe.. Not sure why I waited... This was a super fast read.. if you like sweet books..read this one.. There is little agnst/drama.. but nothing to bad..
We have Kam who is your all american Southern Boy and the guy every girl at his highschool wants.. See Kam refuses to be attached to any one girl his senior year.. after a 3 year relationship with one of the school's biggest B***H's he has vowed...NO GIRLFRIENDS.. until Laney walks in...
Laney is a Big City New York girl who moves to Nowhere Alabama with her father once him and her mother divorce.. Laney is probably the only girl who is amune to Kam's charming ways.. or well she is for a while..
After trying and trying Kam finally makes a bet with Laney.. He wins the big game and covers the spread he gets One Southern Night with her..
After the Big Game has been won.. Spread Covered.. Kam is on fire..till it all goes BLACK...

This is the continuation from One Southern Night.. It picks up with Kam and Laney at College.. Kam is about ready to go Pro.. He has his Agent Sam the Magic Man.. but Laney seems to be getting put on the back burner.. She doesnt want to hold him down.. so she does the one thing she really doesnt want to do but has to.. she calls it quits with Kam and lets him go.. Fast Foward 3 yrs.. Its Senior Year of College.. Both have tried and tried to forget each other but sometime you just cant.. especially when Kam walks into one of his classes and there sits Laney.. just as beautiful as ever.. They start chatting.. then become partners for a project in the class.. So what happens when the Golden Boy is accused of a horrific scandel involving a assult? Did Kam do it? Will he run to Laney for help? You will need to read this book to find out.. :)
