The Kelly Group International (KGI): A super-elite, top secret, family-run business.
Qualifications: High intelligence, rock-hard body, military background.
Mission: Hostage/kidnap victim recovery. Intelligence gathering. Handling jobs the U.S. government can’t...

The enigmatic Hancock has been both opponent and ally to the KGI teams for as long as they've known him. Always working a deep game, Hancock's true allegiance has never been apparent, but one thing is for certain—he never lets anything get in the way of duty.

But now, his absolute belief in the primacy of his ultimate goal is challenged by a captive he's been ordered to guard, no matter how much she suffers in her prison. She's the only woman who's ever managed to penetrate the rigid walls surrounding his icy heart, but will he allow his perplexing feelings for the beautiful victim to destroy a mission he's spent years working to complete or will he be forced to sacrifice her for “the greater good.”

At first I struggled alot with this book because it wouldn't keep me captivated. But about 28% in the book picks up. Honor is this beautiful unselfish woman who is so giving that she is willing to sacrifice herself for the good of everyone else. Honestly I would say she's almost angel like except this girl has a blazing temper. Even in her darkest times the girl could you a mouthful. She really cares for every person. Hancock is this stoic man who at first glance is horrible he has ice in his veins. His crew is also built like him they are never the type to be thoughtful even though what they are doing is for the greater good. Mojo was not a man of many words but was ultimately so sweet and he touched my heart. Conrad who was seriously mean but quickly learns that he's met an angel. You go through this story and a lot of distasteful things happen but as I said the story is intriguing. Once I got to that point I couldn't put the book down. It makes you think about what people really go through when they are over there being watched not even knowing things that wait on them. I received this as an arc from netgally and the publisher. I am a huge fan of this author. Reviewing for Night and Day book blog http://ndbbr2014.com Stephanie Powell
