egomaniac-available-now

Pageflex Persona [document: PRS0000038_00072]

The night I met Drew Jagger, he’d just broken into my new Park Avenue office.
I dialed 9-1-1 before proceeding to attack him with my fancy new Krav Maga skills.
He quickly restrained me, then chuckled, finding my attempted assault amusing.

Of course, my intruder had to be arrogant.
Only, turned out, he wasn’t an intruder at all.

Drew was the rightful occupant of my new office. He’d been on vacation while his posh space was renovated.
Which was how a scammer got away with leasing me office space that wasn’t really available for rent.
I was swindled out of ten grand.

The next day, after hours at the police station, Drew took pity on me and made me an offer I couldn’t refuse. In exchange for answering his phones while his secretary was out, he’d let me stay until I found a new place.
I probably should have acted grateful and kept my mouth shut when I overheard the advice he was spewing to his clients. But I couldn’t help giving him a piece of my mind.
I never expected my body to react every time we argued. Especially when that was all we seemed to be able to do.

The two of us were complete opposites. Drew was a bitter, angry, gorgeous-as-all-hell, destroyer of relationships. And my job was to help people save their marriages.
The only thing the two of us had in common was the space we were sharing.
And an attraction that was getting harder to deny by the day.

Gail's Review
ARC of Ego Maniac received by author for honest review.
Oh WOW.. Vi Keeland can do no wrong.. I don’t think I have read a book of hers I didn’t love. I LOVED Drew & Emerie… I loved the back and forth these two had.. everything that came out of Drew’s mouth cracked me up and I loved how it got to Emerie..
Drew is just so cocky and arrogant.. full of himself but for good reason.. He knows he’s hot and knows he can please a woman so why not be that way.. but the way he opens up to Emerie and shows his vulenerable side… Swoon…. I just loved him..
Emerie was a hoot.. she cracked me up through out the whole book..
There were soooo many sexy times… Seriously if you have read and loved any of Vi’s books…GO GET THIS ONE.. You wont be disappointed…

Marialee's Review

So, really there are only 2 words that I need to say to tell you why this is a 5 star review and that is Vi Keeland. Enough said, Right!?! I have read many books by this amazing author and I have not read one that I have not absolutely LOVED. They way she puts a story down on paper just flows so well. You grab one of her books and the next thing you know you have been reading for an hour. They are all page turners that you don't want to put down until you are completely finished and then you still want to know more of the story. This story is no different!

I love Drew and Emerie. These 2 are completely opposite in every way. She is naive, believes in love, and a psychologist looking to help people keep their marriages together. He is arrogant, cocky, does not believe in love, and is a divorce lawyer. These two meet completely by accident after Emerie gets scammed out of a crap ton of money by leasing and office space that was not his to lease and not available. After this the sparks fly and I mean that both bad and goon.

You will be taken on a roller coaster of emotions. There will be love, lust, jealousy, heart break, anger, etc. The list goes on and on and you will feel these emotions like you are experiencing them yourself.

Just like every other Vi Keeland book that I have read you don't want to miss out on this one!
