How to kick off a great summer in the Hamptons:

Snag a gorgeous rental on the beach. Check.

Get a job at a trendy summer haunt. Check.

How to screw up a great summer in the Hamptons:

Fall for the one guy with a dark leather jacket, scruff on his face, and intense eyes that doesn’t fit in with the rest of the tony looking crowd. A guy you can’t have when you’ll be leaving at the end of the season.

Check. Check. Check.

I should add—especially when the guy is your sexy, tattooed God of a boss.

Especially when he not only owns your place of employment but inherited half of the town.

Especially when he’s mean to you.

Or so I thought.

Until one night when he demanded I get in his car so he could drive me home because he didn’t want me walking in the dark.

That was sort of how it all started with Rush.

And then little by little, some of the walls of this hardass man started to come down.

I never expected that the two of us, seemingly opposites from the outside, would grow so close.

I wasn't supposed to fall for the rebel heir, especially when he made it clear he didn’t want to cross the line with me.

As the temperature turned cooler, the nights became hotter. My summer became a lot more interesting—and complicated.

All good things must come to an end, right?

Except our ending was one I didn’t see coming.

Gail's Review
Another amazing job by this fantastic duo. I have loved everything these two have done.

Gia has just moved to the Hamptons for the summer when she landed a book deal. She is in need of finishing the book, and since they money they fronted her for it is nearly gone (having spent it on the house), and with the creative juices no longer flowing... she is in trouble.

Rush is the Heir to the massive estate (same one Gia is staying at).
These two don't really hit it off. Gia is covering for her roomie at the local Bar/Restruant when Rush walks in and sees that she is loosing him money. Begging him not to fire her roomie they make a deal, she keeps her job but Gia has to start working for him too...

You can feel the tension between Gia and Rush, and as they become friends, stronger feelings start to develop.
Just be forewarned.. this is a cliffy and that ending is some HOLY SHITBALL worthiness.. I sooooo can not wait for the next installment.

Marialee's Review
Another great read by these 2 amazing authors. This story has Rush who is an heir to a massive estate and Gia who is visiting the Hamptons just for the summer where she is trying to finish her book. When Rush and Gia meet they don't hit it off right away but that soon will change when they start hanging out all the time after she starts working for him.

During this book I kind of wanted to smack the both of them. The attraction that was between the two of them you could feel it in the book. You will laugh, you will cry, you will want to smack some sense into them. This book does end in a cliffhanger and I cannot wait to read the next one.

This one is a must read and you do not want to miss it!
