The Space Between Us: a Boxer Romance
by
An explosive and unexpected romance that proves opposites really do attract, and burn twice as hot...

Bad boy, Dean King lives life on his own terms. His life has never been simple. After being raised in the worst neighborhood in town by a neglectful mother, he left the small, sleepy town of Evansdale to pursue a career in fighting, and escape the painful memories that have haunted him. Coming back to Evansdale after ten years away to care for his ailing grandmother was never part of the plan, but when the one person who's ever told him they loved him and meant it is dying, he'll do whatever it takes. Even if it means selling his soul. When he runs into Emma, the little sister of his now ex-best-friend, something ignites inside him. A fire. A desire that's all but consuming in a way he doesn't understand.

Aspiring ballerina, Emma Winchester doesn't take risks. She has a plan for her life, one that gets derailed by having to return to Evansdale to help her run the orchards at Winchester Estates. All Emma wants to do is go back to college to pursue her degree in dance. Dean King is dangerous. Sexy, and everything she wouldn't want. But she does. And the more time she spends with Dean, the freer she begins to feel. She know's it will hurt her brother if he ever finds out, but she just can't stay away.

Fate brings them together. Burning passion binds them. When the fire gets too hot, can love save them?

Meet the Author

Alyne Hart is a contemporary romance author and wine connoisseur living in Walla Walla, WA. She’s known for writing stories that pack an emotional punch and get you right in the feels.
She loves writing very real and very flawed characters and writing about real, gritty and raw romance. She’s a romance junkie and happy endings addict, and if you’re a lover of deeply emotional, flawed and raw reads with lots of delicious angst, her books are for you. Alyne’s stories involve characters with bigger problems than just finding love. She writes stories about making peace with the past, rekindling old flames and healing old wounds. She loves small towns, men in uniform and alpha males with a heart of gold.
She began her story-telling journey first with her dolls, then it progressed to paper. She has a deep love for anything romantic, and she’s a believer that in love anything is possible.
When Alyne isn’t writing, you can find her reading, hanging out with her cat, and spending time with her two children. She enjoys trips to the mountains just as much as trips to the wine cellar, live music, chick flick movie marathons and hanging out with her eclectic group of friends.

Gail's Review..
Ok so this is my first book by Alyne Hart.. Definitely not my last.. I preordered book 2 in this series and I see it was delivered this morning... I absolutely love second chance books and I LOVE fighter/Boxer/MMA type books. This book was amazing.
Dean is a bad boy boxer from the wrong side of the tracks. He left town some years ago, but he is now back because is mama rose (grandma) isn't doing well.
Emma is a aspiring ballerina and the little sister of is now ex best friend. She has had a major crush on Dean since she was a teen.. She works hard at a local restaurant, helps out on the family orchard, and is trying to get into a good College.
Dean is back and the attraction is off the charts with these two. Dean know he should stay away, but he knows he cant. The pull to Emma is strong.

“Forrest would fucking kill me if he knew I was mentally undressing his little sister and envisioning what she might look like all fragile and purring like a kitten beneath me.
Hell. Forrest might try and fucking kill me regardless.” <-- see that right there.. HOTT!!!

Dean may be flawed, broken, and damaged even but with Emma in his corner, he has the world in the palm of his hands..
I highly recommend this book. You wont be disappointed!
