I completely loved this book.. but what book of Penelope Wards haven't I loved...
I loved Heather and Noah (even though Noah was somewhat of a A$$ in the beginning...) Heather is a 20 yr old young woman who was wanting to go to college to become a nurse but that has since been put on the back burner as she has decided to stay home and look after her mother and run the lake house for her. Noah is a older man.. (but not really) who needed to get away from his day to day.. for a couple months.. He needs some down time.. So he rents a little cottage on a lake for the summer.
I loved everything about this book. I loved heathers quirkiness and her non filter.. It had me cracking up... and who couldn't love that big ol fathead..

Loved this book. Really what book of Penelope Ward's isn't AMAZING!?! Noah is a jerk and is on vacation to get away from his life and Heather is the owner of the boathouse that Noah decides to rent for the summer. Heather is hilarious 20 year old that didn't go to college and is taking care of the home and her mom. They don't get off on the right foot but eventually becomes friends. Heather throws herself at Noah a couple of times but with Noah being 34 he thinks he is too old and it ain't going to happen. This is a story of love with some heartache mixed in. You will laugh at Heather's craziness and you will cry from the events that had and will happen. Great book with all the feels. I love how Penelope can make you feel what the characters are feeling. She really pulls you into each and every one of them.
