“You belong with someone your own age,” she counters after a few intense beats. She pulls her hand away from my face and averts her gaze. “You deserve to find someone young and pretty without any complications. I want you to be happy. I want that for you so much.” 

“My happy place is you.” I reel her into my body, clamping my hands on her lower back to stop her from wriggling free. “You make me happy. I don’t want any other girl. I never have, and I never will. I only want you.”

This time we get a reverse age gap.. I have not read to many of these but this one was amazing!! Older woman/younger man.. Yes please!! No sane person can understand the mind of a psychopath. There's no way of comprehending how people can do such evil things. Kendall Hawthorne is a beautiful and amazing woman and a mom to 3 beautiful kids.. what she thought was a wonder and beautiful life turned out to be nothing but lies when she finds out her husband and childhood sweetheart has been cheating on her..
